Recovery is not about simply stopping the use of drugs and alcohol; it requires a lifestyle change. New habits need to be formed, such as support group meetings, sober recreation, meditation, exercise and other recovery-related activities.
Discovery House provides men with the guidance and opportunity to safely develop these habits and integrate them into their daily life. Residents learn to support and encourage individual growth while learning how to live without drugs and alcohol.
We follow the principles of the Twelve-Step fellowship. Residents are required to attend meetings and actively work a Twelve-Step recovery program.
We welcome men of all ages and backgrounds.
Forget about the mistakes that you made in the past. You are not your past. Find your own strengths. Learn about who you really are, and who
you can become.
We strive to help give you the best chances for a life free from the restraints of addiction while guiding
you to help find your own way.
Residents are encouraged to provide mutual support and encouragement for sobriety with fellow peers in the house.
